The Forgotten Revenue Channel

The NAVIS client base represents some of the largest and most prestigious resorts and hotels in North America. What almost all have in common is that, before NAVIS, they were devoting almost all of their attention to a channel that represents just 20% to 30% of their reservation revenue – their online bookings. The other 70% to 80% of their reservations were being booked over the phone but this was largely being ignored.

When we show resorts and hotels how a single percentage increase in their inbound call conversions can impact their bottom line, their eyebrows hit the top of their head. And with most of our clients seeing their conversions go from 30% to 40%, 50% and higher, the increases in their revenue are truly astounding.

Look at it this way. You are probably booking 3 out of every 10 calls that come in to your property. When you want 3 more bookings what do you usually do? You try to get 10 more calls. And then 10 more, and so on.

But what about the 7 that didn’t book? Chances are, they are probably forgotten as soon as the call is over. Frankly, to not take advantage of every booking opportunity from people who took the time and trouble to call you…well, that’s just a crime.

We show our clients how to use technology and new processes to convert more of those 7 into bookings. So that the next time you need 3 more bookings, you may only have to get 8 calls, or 7, or even less.

Now that’s something you can’t ignore.
